FamilyCare Physical Therapy

Frequently Asked Questions

There is no such thing as a silly question!  If you're one of the lucky ones, this might be your very first experience with Physical Therapy, and you may not be familiar with what might be involved, what your responsibilities are, or what some of the terminology means. Below is a collection of Frequently Asked Questions that others have already asked us. If you cannot find the answers here, feel free to call our business office at 360.331.7850, or use the form below to send us an email and we'll answer you personally.

Is it necessary for me to obtain a referral from my Doctor or can I come in on my own?

Although anyone in need of therapy can call us directly to set up an appointment, most insurance policies require a referral from your family doctor before they will cover your treatment. To find out if your insurance requires a referral, feel free to call one of our offices with your insurance information, and we will be happy to find out for you.

Can I schedule my treatments at any of your clinics or am I only limited to one location?

You are more than welcome to use any of our clinics throughout your treatment. Our staff will be happy to make your appointment wherever it is most convenient for you and will assist you with your therapist's availability at all three locations.

Do you bill my insurance or do I?

Our staff is very familiar with the insurance companies billing requirements, and we will bill your insurance directly for you. Any balance that you owe to us will be billed to you after we receive a response from your insurance company.
