For the year 2008, Medicare has put a cap on the amount they will pay for physical therapy. Your treatment sessions will need to be conducted within that limit, unless you meet the qualifications for an exception to the cap, and the extended treatment is medically necessary. If you have any concerns about Medicare's cap, please feel free to discuss them with the therapist or the office staff.
Medicare has certain requirements that must be met in order for them to cover physical therapy treatment. Most of the paperwork can be taken care of between our staff and your referring doctor, but please pay attention to anything the office staff says they need from you.
